Privacy Policy for Dhamma Habits

Effective date: 27 May 2026

Dhamma Habits is developed by Brian Naik. This privacy policy explains how the app handles user data.

Data Stored on Your Device

Dhamma Habits stores app data locally on your device. This includes selected habits, practice logs, practice goals, personal notes, app settings, onboarding status, and backup files you choose to export.

The app does not send this practice data to the developer.

Backups

Dhamma Habits lets you export and import backup files. Exported backup files can contain your selected habits, logs, goals, notes, and settings. You are responsible for where you save, store, or share exported backup files.

External Links

Dhamma Habits can open external websites when you tap reference links or the voluntary donation link. These websites are outside the app and have their own privacy practices.

Donations

Donations are handled by an external payment provider. Dhamma Habits does not directly process or store payment card details.

Data Sharing

Dhamma Habits does not sell user data and does not intentionally share your practice data with third parties.

Data Deletion

You can delete app data by using the reset option in the app or by uninstalling the app. Exported backup files must be deleted separately.

Children's Privacy

Dhamma Habits is not designed specifically for children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
